1. FeedbackDesk and these terms
These Terms of Service govern use of FeedbackDesk at getfeedbackdesk.com and its associated feedback, owner-dashboard, and business-management features. “We” and “our” mean the FeedbackDesk service provider; “you” means the person using the service or, where you act with authority for a business, that business.
By using FeedbackDesk, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement and authority to act for any business you represent.
2. Accounts and authorized access
Owner accounts are provisioned by the platform administrator. There is no public owner self-registration. Keep account information accurate, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Your account may access only the business and stores assigned to it. You must not share access in a way that bypasses those assignments, impersonate another person, access another business’s records, or attempt to override account, store, or administrator permissions. The platform administrator may change assignments or suspend access when appropriate under these terms or your business agreement.
3. Feedback and your content
You are responsible for the information you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to provide it. Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or infringing content, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
You retain your rights in content you submit. You authorize FeedbackDesk to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the requested service, including displaying customer feedback to the relevant business. Businesses are responsible for their handling of customer information and for providing any notices or obtaining permissions required for their use.
Customer feedback can be submitted without an owner account. FeedbackDesk distinguishes private feedback from public Google reviews. A link or handoff to Google does not guarantee that a customer posts a review or that Google publishes it. FeedbackDesk does not automatically post private feedback on Google.
4. Google Business Profile connections
Connecting a Google Business Profile is optional and requires explicit Google OAuth authorization. You must be authorized to access the relevant profile and select the correct location for your FeedbackDesk store. The connection is used to retrieve accounts, locations, and reviews and make relevant review information available to assigned owners.
You can disconnect a store in FeedbackDesk and revoke the app’s authorization through your Google Account. See the Privacy Policy for credential handling, data use, and disconnect details.
Google controls its services, API access, review publication, and applicable policies. Review availability and update times may be affected by Google permissions, quotas, outages, moderation, or changes to its APIs. You must comply with applicable Google terms and policies. FeedbackDesk is an independent service and does not claim Google sponsorship or endorsement.
5. Acceptable use
- Use FeedbackDesk for lawful, authorized business feedback and review management.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, discover credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with other users or service availability.
- Do not use the service to fabricate reviews, impersonate customers, misrepresent review sources, or violate a third-party platform’s review policies.
- Do not upload malicious code, automate abusive requests, or use customer or Google data for unauthorized resale, advertising, or other undisclosed purposes.
- Respect privacy, intellectual-property rights, and the permissions of the business and customers whose information you handle.
6. Plans and subscription arrangements
Any paid plan, price, billing schedule, renewal, cancellation, and refund arrangements are those separately agreed with FeedbackDesk when your business is onboarded or changes its plan. A subscription status displayed in the dashboard is an administrative record; it does not itself create a new payment authorization.
These terms do not add automatic renewal, a payment gateway, or an unspecified charge. If a separate written service agreement applies, its specifically agreed commercial terms govern that business arrangement.
7. Privacy and data requests
Our Privacy Policy explains the information handled by FeedbackDesk, including account records, private feedback, business/store information, and authorized Google data. It also explains how to request access, correction, or deletion.
Disabling an account or ending access does not automatically erase business records or customer feedback. If you need your records before access ends or wish to request deletion, contact FeedbackDesk. Requests may require identity and authority verification and are subject to applicable obligations and the rights of other parties.
8. Availability and limitations
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, immediate Google review updates, or a particular improvement in revenue, ratings, reputation, or customer satisfaction. Dashboard information depends on available source data and the selected stores and dates.
FeedbackDesk may require maintenance or be affected by failures of hosting, authentication, Google, or other service providers. Features may change as the service develops. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict or suspend access to protect the service or its users, address misuse or security risks, comply with applicable legal requirements, or enforce agreed subscription terms. Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You can stop using FeedbackDesk and disconnect Google access at any time. Contact us about closing a business account or ending a subscription; any separately agreed cancellation terms continue to apply. Ending access does not affect obligations already incurred or rights that survive under applicable law.
10. Changes and resolving concerns
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where legally required, we will notify you of material changes or seek additional agreement before they apply.
Please contact FeedbackDesk first with a service or terms-related concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not limit your mandatory rights or require you to give up access to a court or regulator available under applicable law.
